Just Add Water appoints Bec Gilray as director

New leadership team includes Viktorya Hollings as chief operations officer and Joel Benton as business development director

Today UK-based game developer Just Add Water has announced a new leadership team for company. The studio named Bec Gilray as director, Viktorya Hollings was appointed as chief operations officer, and Joel Benton will now serve as business development director

With Gilray's experience running her own creative business for 12 years, the company said that she will be bringing an array of expertise into her new role.

Previously, Hollings was studio head at PopCap Games and has launched a number of titles throughout her games career.

Benton has worked in the game industry for over 2 decades and within that time he's worked at a number of companies such as Sumo Digital, Splash Damage, and Ninja Theory.

This change in management follows after studio co-founder Stewart Gilray passed away in January of this year.

"After 16 years of walking beside Stew as he built Just Add Water and planned for the future, I'm happy to be working with our new management team as we move the company forward," said Gilray.

"The developers, both past and present, have played a huge role in making Just Add Water what it is, and I'm looking forward to bringing new team members on board as we build a studio that we can all be proud of."

The company also said that it plans to relocate to new offices and expand its staff. Additionally, Just Add Water announced it is working on a number of unnamed projects.
