New Portuguese-language version of Grand Fantasia has begun its Open Beta Testing.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – August 26, 2010 – Aeria Games, a leading publisher of interactive entertainment, announced today that the new Portuguese-language version of Grand Fantasia has begun its Open Beta Testing (OBT) phase. All players are now welcome to join the game, playing for free in an entirely new language.
Grand Fantasia is an anime-style fantasy MMORPG with intense PvP combat and a deep virtual pet system. Players can quest through the fantasy world of Saphael and battle fearsome monsters, all while raising and customizing their pet “Sprites,” and challenging other players on the battlefield… or wooing them in the player romance system. Grand Fantasia, like all Aeria Games, is free-to-play, and is the latest title in Aeria’s catalog to become available in the Portuguese language.
Players who participated in Grand Fantasia’s Closed Beta Test will also receive the Commemorative Cape of Closed Beta once they join the OBT. The Cape, a rare and permanent item available only to Closed Beta testers, is a vanity item that is not for sale, cannot be traded, and can only acquired by participating in Closed Beta.
