Sensor Tower reports that Playrix match three puzzle game has passed revenue milestone

Sensor Tower reported yesterday that match three mobile game Gardenscapes has generated $3 billion in player spending since its release in August 2016.

The tracking firm's data paints a picture of rapid growth for the Playrix game.

Last year Gardenscapes saw a 78% year-over-year increase in revenue from $537 million to $959 million.

In 2020, it generated enough in player spending to be the ninth top grossing game on both the App Store and Google Play Store combined.

Gardenscapes is also reported to be the second highest revenue generating game in the first half of 2021.

Sensor Tower notes that this data does not include revenue from third-party Android stores used in China or other territories.
