Top 3 place attained in Venture London business competition.

LONDON, Ontario, Canada, 3rd March 2010 – Gaming Union has achieved a top 3 finish in Venture London, a business competition hosted by the London Economic Development Corporation, Small Business Centre, The Stiller Centre and TechAlliance in London, Ontario, Canada.

The competition aims to help start-up businesses in the region, and Gaming Union was entered into the existing business category, which was open to businesses that have been running for under two years. There were initially over forty entrants to the competition, and a few weeks ago, Gaming Union was announced as one of the three finalists. Last year, the competition was won by Antic Entertainment, a company headed by former DICE CEO, Fredrik Liliegren.

“As one of three finalists in the 2010 Venture London Business Competition, Gaming Union is clearly a young company on the rise.” said Nancy Kopriva, Steering Committee Chair, Venture London Business Competition. “The quality of their research, thorough planning and enlightening presentation made them a strong contender for the top prize. Gaming Union is an asset to the gaming industry and a company to watch."

In a letter to Gaming Union, presented during the closing ceremonies, Ontario Member of Provincial Parliament, Chris Bentley, said on behalf of the Ontario Legislature, "Your outstanding performance within the London business community is a great achievement. This nomination is a fitting recognition of your hard work and dedication as a distinguished business leader."
