Games Media Properties, Inc. Launches Giant Realm Vertical Ad Network Of Digital Entertainment Enthusiast Destinations

Fast-Growing Category of Niche Sites Reaching Men 16 -34

New York, November 29, 2007 - Games Media Properties, Inc., announced today the launch of Giant Realm, a rapidly growing vertical network of digital entertainment enthusiast sites reaching the 16-34 male audience. Broadening beyond the company's competitive video gaming roots, Giant Realm includes owned and exclusively represented niche entertainment sites, as well as videogame sites.

Giant Realm, which currently consists of more than a dozen category-leading destinations such as GameRiot, SpawnPoint, Myndflame, and ModDb, attracted 5 million U.S. visitors a month in October 2007. (Google Analytics). In addition, the network was the fastest growing entity in the gaming information category during October 2007, according to comScore Media Metrix.

"There is a significant audience of men 16-34 who do not show up in mainstream online media outlets. They have very specific digital entertainment passion points, such as massively multi-player on-line games (MMO's), e-sports, machinima, anime movies, and indie music, which tend to consume much of the time they spend online," said James Green, CEO of Games Media Properties, Inc.

"Just like their mainstream counterparts, these guys socialize and share opinions with each other through enthusiast sites and online communities," continued Green. "By aggregating together the 'best in class' enthusiast and community sites, Giant Realm is delivering an untapped but highly desirable and influential audience to advertisers."

Keith Kane, SVP for Advertising Sales at Giant Realm, remarked, "The growth of niche digital entertainment platforms has exploded in recent years, as evidenced by the success of MMO games like "World of Warcraft", events like Comicon, and the proliferation of Machinima on YouTube. These young men are on the leading edge, they're full of confidence, and are regarded as influencers by their peers. They're the first in line when it comes to the latest entertainment, technology, and consumer products, whether it be for a new movie, game, gadget, soda, or sneaker."

He added, "We provide scale for advertisers who want to target these men, by aggregating the various niche audiences found on these sites. And we're giving marketers the ability to execute engaging "beyond the banner" programs, including editorial integrations, promotions, site-specific targeting, and innovative creative units."

Games Media also launched GiantRealm.com, a destination website built on content generated by the partner sites. By aggregating the best and latest content from the network and beyond, the site is appealing to this videogame centric audience that also has interests in other leading edge entertainment areas.

"Initially, our goal with GiantRealm.com is to showcase the network to marketers who are interested in reaching this audience. As the site evolves through the beta stage, we hope to establish it as a leading destination for this particular group of men," said Kane.
