Games industry to compete in charity bowling tournament later this month

Spaces available for those who want to cheer teams on and network with leading games professionals at London event

Some of the leading games firms in the UK will participate in a bowling tournament in a few weeks time in order to raise money for charity.

The annual Strike Club: The Rematch event will once again take place as The Croc Bowling venue in London's Ham Yard Hotel on Thursday, May 24th.

While all the team slots are sold out, individuals are still able to come along to watch the tournament and network with the attendees.

The price of admission is £150, with proceeds going to charity. A buffet dinner will also be served, as well as cocktails and snacks when the winners are announced later in the evening.

Following the previous successful partnership, funds raised will be going to SpecialEffect (which specialises in enabling disabled people to play video games) and Maggie's Centres (which offer support to people with cancer, as well as their families and friends).

This year's sponsors include Miniclip, Facebook, Sega, Marcussen Consulting, Space Ape Games, First Touch Games and Supercell.

Anyone wishing to attend can enquire by emailing sally@sallykcoordinates.com. You can find more info about the event at the official website.
