Gameloft revenues up 15%

Mobile publisher turns over $144m in 2010 to date

French mobile publisher Gameloft has revealed revenues for its third quarter.

At €34.7 million ($49.1 million), it's 15 per cent up on the same time last year. The growth was primarily attributed to an 80 per cent jump in iOS sales during the year to date.

Gameloft does not reveal full financial results for individual quarters, but for H1 of 2010 (ending August) it mustered a net profit of €5.3 million ($7.5 million), up 140 per cent on the first half of 2009.

Nine-month total revenues for the company are €101.3 million ($143.8 million), with each quarter bringing in roughly equal sales.

The company anticipated additional success from forthcoming tablet devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It also looked to TVs and consoles as possible platforms for its games.

Q4 results are due on January 31.
