Eurogamer relaunches with new site design

HD, Portable and Mobile versions among changes at GamesIndustry.biz sister site

GamesIndustry.biz's sister site, Eurogamer, has relaunched with an entirely new site design, adopting a customisable content feed and infinite scrolling as part of the new front page.

The new site launched concurrently across ten different European domains in as many languages, and features device specific layouts for HD, portable and mobile platforms. Google search has been integrated to help find content, whilst social networking tools have been integrated to facilitate content sharing.

Behind the scenes, the new site incorporates extra capacity from server and other hardware upgrades to ensure speed and reliability.

"I'm proud that we have built the new Eurogamer around content and community," said Eurogamer Operations director Tom Bramwell. "We're embracing HD and tailoring the full experience to multiple devices to match the rise of tablets, netbooks and smartphones. We can't wait to hear what people think!"

The Eurogamer network is Europe's leading independent games media specialist and has recently expanded into the US with the acquisition of IndustryGamers.
