EGX Rezzed: What's going on for the industry?

Meet The Indies, Career Fair and GamesIndustry.biz 100 returns

It's the day before EGX Rezzed, and GamesIndustry.biz will once again be there in full force.

Across all three days, the GI team will be operating its Career Fair, featuring the UKIE Career Bar. It's your chance to hear about getting into games and speaking to experts about where to take your next industry move. Creative Assembly, Rare, Chucklefish, Bossa Studios, Media Molecule, TT Games, NDreams, Playground Games, Jagex, Dlala, Mediatonic and loads more will be there to answer your questions, check our your portfolio and deliver talks.

The UKIE Career Bar schedule can be found here.

We will also be operating our Meet The Indies room for a second year, sponsored by Wicked Sick. The event this year will stretch over all three days, with Nintendo, Sony, Xbox, Sega, EA, BBC, Makers Fund, Wales Interactive, Rising Star Games, Green Man Gaming, Bifrost Entertainment and many, many more holding meetings at the course of the weekend. In total, we will have almost 250 meetings taking place.

Finally, our big announcement. On the Friday, GamesIndustry.biz will reveal the 100 rising stars of the UK games industry. 100 names have been picked and profiled, with our special feature going live tomorrow. We are also throwing a special drinks reception at EGX Rezzed, with 200 guests expected. The GI 100 is sponsored by Amiqus.

There's more industry elements happening, too. The Rezzed Sessions are very industry friendly, discussing game creation, storytelling and more. GamesIndustry.biz will be hosting the panel on the new Doctor Who game, which takes place on Saturday at 1:30.

Meanwhile, after the GI drinks reception on Friday, the EGX Industry Party will begin. You can secure your tickets to the industry party here.

We'll see you at the show.
