East Side Games countersues Truly Social Games

Archer: Danger Phone partners trade litigation and breach of contract accusations

East Side Games (ESG) has released a counterclaim against Truly Social Games' (TSG) allegations of unfair business practices.

As reported by Mobilegamer.biz, the move comes after TSG filed two separate suits against ESG, accusing the games firm of contract violations and withholding pay.

In its counterclaim, ESG denies the allegations and goes on to accuse TSG of still owing an unpaid debt of more than $370,000 for developing Archer: Danger Phone in 2021.

"ESG advanced sums in excess of $1m to TSG on various dates and in various amounts, the particulars of which are known to TSG and which will be provided prior to trial," the filing said.

The counterclaim also says TSG breached its contract by failing to fulfill a number of obligations, like maintaining a 4-star rating on Google Play (it has 3.7 stars as of this writing), responding to reviews of 3 stars or less, and fixing bugs.

Additionally, ESG claims TSG's Monster Masters and Summer Camp Merge are clones of its games BudMaster and Trailer Park Boys: Get Merged.
