EA confirms Orcs and Elves sequel

EA Mobile will be publishig a sequel to id Software's Orcs and Elves.

"Orcs and Elves changed a lot of people's perceptions by showing that you could build an easily accesible, story-rich RPG for today's mobile phones," commented Travis Boatman, VP of worldwide studios at EA Mobile.

The sequel is in development at Fountainhead Studios and due for release this christmas.

"Orcs and Elves II is a polished gem of a game for the mobile platfroms, opening up new parts of the world to explore, while carrying forward and improving all elements that were loved about the original game," added John Carmack, founder of id Software.
