Atlanta, GA -- January 11, 2011 -- Konsole Kingz (KKZ) releases Death Of A Pop Star (DOAPS) Theme to celebrate the new album from Grammy Award-winning, hip-hop producers, David Banner and 9 ^th Wonder. Exclusively for the PlayStation®Store, the DOAPS Theme features 6 images along with the KKZ silver icon pack and custom sounds produced by David Banner and 9 ^th Wonder.

Well known for radio hits, “Like a Pimp,” “Play,” and “Get Like Me,” David Banner is an avid, hardcore gamer. Gaming is a favorite past time and fun way for the multi-Platinum rapper/producer/actor to connect with fans.

9 ^th Wonder is no stranger to the gaming world. In 2010, the soulful producer scored the entire soundtrack for EA Sports’ NBA Elite 11 and debuted as an unlockable character in NBA Jam.

KKZ’s collaboration with David Banner and 9 ^th Wonder marks their second dynamic theme for the PlayStation®Store.

1. Log into the PlayStation®Store

2. Go to Themes & Avatars

3. Go to Dynamic Themes

4. Navigate to “DOAPS Theme”

How to install the FREE DOAPS Theme :

1. From the Settings icon on the XMB (Xross Media Bar), scroll to the Theme Settings option.

2. Press the X button to display the Theme menu

3. Press the X button again to display a list of themes that are available for use.

4. Scroll to the desired theme, and then select Apply.
