BAFTA entry deadline imminent

Games submitted prior to October 16 exempt from entry fee

The early bird deadline for submissions to this year's British Academy Video Game Awards is drawing close with entrants asked to submit games for first stage voting by October 16 if they want to avoid the GBP 250 entry fee.

Games submitted by the October deadline will be exempt from the fee, instead just paying a registration fee for each game entered.

The final deadline for entries is November 16, after which first stage voting will begin.

Games released up until December 6 will be eligible for entry into the first stage, while games released between December 6 -31 can still be entered but will go straight to the jury stage.

Full details of the fees and eligibility terms can be found on the official BAFTA site.
