Cooper named Future US executive director

Future US announced that it has promoted David Cooper to executive director for Official Xbox Magazine, PSM: Independent Playstation Magazine, PC Gamer, and GamesRadar.

Future US has named David Cooper as executive director for Official Xbox Magazine, PSM: Independent Playstation Magazine, PC Gamer, and GamesRadar.

Cooper was previously publisher of consumer gaming site GamesRadar. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all game related ad revenues for Future US media properties, including print, online, podcasts and disc covermounts. He will also be responsible for all non-game related ad revenues across Future's US online properties.

âSince joining Future US, David Cooper has made fantastic inroads in developing GamesRadarâs image,â said Jonathan Simpson-Bint, president of Future US.

âWeâre confident that Davidâs experience as publisher will benefit the games group.â
