ChinaJoy creates overseas partnership

Dutch Festival of Games organisers team-up with Asian trade event specialists

Conference organisers ChinaJoy and The Netherlands Game Development (NLGD) Foundation have established a new partnership to co-promote their various events.

The two organisations will co-operate on marketing campaigns, lecturer invitations, exhibitor recruitment and audience invites, beginning with the NLGD Foundation's Festival of Games event this June.

At World Expo 2010 in Shanghai both organisations will also be present at the Dutch Pavilion to promote their respective events.

In a statement the two companies spoke of their plans to create a single communication platform for gaming professionals in both China and The Netherlands, in an attempt to increase mutual understanding on game research and development, business and marketing.

"We are glad to see that ChinaJoy and its relevant conference[s] (CGBC, CGDC and CGOC) are winning attentions from an increasing number of international associations and professionals," said spokesman Yunpeng Tan.

"Many of them are approaching us for further cooperation during these events. As NLGD puts it, 'Going Online' is the way for the future development of global game industry," he added.

"Our events are to provide the most effective communication and business platform for gaming professionals and companies around the world."
