Playrix's free-to-play match-3 title reaches milestone two years after launch

Playrix's free-to-play match-3 title centered around home renovation, Homescapes, has surpassed $1 billion in lifetime revenue according to Sensor Tower.

The game launched in September of 2017, just over a year after Playrix's similar title Gardenscapes, and has been outperforming its predecessor every month since February 2019. Gardenscapes is currently sitting at $1.4 billion in lifetime revenue.

Homescapes has seen most of its popularity in the US, with nearly 44% of its total revenue coming from that region. Almost 11% of the total came from Japan, and almost 7% was from Germany.

By platform, the App Store accounted for nearly 56% of total Homescapes revenue. In total, the game has seen over 223 million downloads.
