There is no point acquiring IP for a "licensed" game, if it doesn't include the rights to use the license!
Lot 5 interests me the most - I wonder how much that will go for in the end.
Ironically, playing Darksiders II now. Although the game has heaps of potential, it just feels incredibly rushed and unpolished to me. Frustration is greatly exceeding any enjoyment I'm getting from it.
I'm hoping Sega pick up Homeworld since they are rapidly becoming a solid RTS publisher. It would be nice if they gave the rights back to Relic and said "There you go. Go nuts with it for Homeworld 3."
Hell, Japan has had space sims on consoles for decades, so it's time we saw a game like Homeworld pop up and surprise players of all levels with how great something so deep can be.
The "Other Owned Software" stuff made me smile, laugh and cringe a little. Some of those were decent enough IP (innovative, too - Deadly Creatures, the de Blob, Summoner, Stuntman, Drawn to Life and Full Spectrum Warrior games for starters), but others may not even get touched because no one will no what to do with them.
was it :-
