Arthur Bastings named as new Bigpoint co-CEO
New executive to co-chair with Heiko Hubbertz
Bigpoint has appointed a co-CEO to share leadership duties with Heiko Hubbertz, naming ex Discovery network MD Arthur Bastings to the position.
The German company has seen continued success in recent times, culminating in the launch last month of Battlestar Galactica Online.
"Arthur Bastings has successfully built top media brands on a global level, and I'm very happy that we've been able to attract him to Bigpoint," said Hubertz, in a press statement.
"Online gaming is the strongest growing industry in the entire entertainment sector," added Bastings, "and Bigpoint has demonstrated impressive international growth. I'm looking forward to working together with Heiko Hubertz in guiding the company on its continuing journey."
