Arena of Valor brings in $15 million lifetime player spending

International version of Honor of Kings sees strong September led by US spending

The international, western-targeted release of Honor of Kings, Arena of Valor, may not be seeing the same revenue numbers as its Chinese counterpart, but it's still performing well enough.

According to Sensor Tower's report, Arena of Valor has brought in a total of $15 million in revenue since it launched one year ago. This past September was the game's strongest month yet, with the game grossing $1.7 million.

This means Tencent's mobile MOBA saw 49% growth month-over-month and 143% growth year-over-year, with spending led by US players. Though the game launched in the US a few months later than in its soft-launch territories, US players have accounted for about 30 percent of the game's earnings. Germany follows at 14 percent.

Arena of Valor currently has been downloaded 16 million times. 1.1 million of those occurred last month.
