A Night In Fantasia 2006

Sydney, April 6, 2006 - Eminence announced today that A Night In Fantasia 2006 (ANIF06) will be held in both Sydney (July 7) and Melbourne (July 2).

A Night In Fantasia is Australia's premier orchestral concert of music from some of the most well-known Japanese animation and electronic games ever created. This concert of anime and gaming music is now in its fourth year. Highly anticipated by many fans, the concert has become renowned for bringing the joy of live performance to a modern audience.

Come and be enthralled by the full Eminence Symphony Orchestra playing premier tracks from Final Fantasy XII, Studio Ghibli films, Shadow of the Colossus, Katamari Damacy, and more from eminent composers including Nobuo Uematsu and Joe Hisaishi.

A Night In Fantasia has a history of bringing special guest artists to Australia. In 2004 the concert featured Nobuo Uematsu. 2005 saw renowned Taiko ensemble on stage. 2006 will bring vocalist Youmi Kimuora performing with a piece from Howl's Moving Castle. A solo will be performed by pianist Alexey Yemtsov including music from the Final Fantasy series.
