EA halts work on PS3 version of Red Alert 3

Electronic Arts has stopped work on the PlayStation 3 version of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.

The title was officially unveiled in February this year, and marked the return of the popular RTS franchise after seven years. No reason has been given for the move, reports our sister site Eurogamer.net.

The title is still due for release on Xbox 360 and PC this autumn.
