Xbox joins GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit UK line-up

The platform holder will be discussing games subscriptions and meeting devs at London event

Xbox is the latest big name to join the GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit in London on Thursday, October 17th.

The firm's ID@Xbox regional lead Agostino Simonetta will deliver a talk on games subscriptions and Game Pass at the event. He joins a speaker line-up that includes Team17 CEO Debbie Bestwick, Bossa Studio's Roberta Lucca, Unit 2 Game's Hannah Waddilove, Fundamentally Games' Ella Romanos, Miniclip's Saad Choudri, MTG's Christopher Bergstresser and more to be announced.

Meanwhile, Xbox will also be meeting indie developers in 1-to-1 meetings in the afternoon of the event. They join Sega, Jagex, Frontier Developments, London Venture Partners, Kowloon Nights, MTG, Miniclip, Dear Villagers, BFI, Super.com, Sold Out, Those Awesome Guys and Green Man Gaming. They'll all be meeting with developers to sign products. More publishers and investors will be added over the coming days and weeks.

The event takes place on Thursday, October 17th at London Excel, alongside the EGX consumer show.

Developers looking to hear the talks and meet with these attendees can buy tickets now. Make sure to book tickets before October 4th to have a chance to secure pre-arranged meetings. Tickets cost £99 + fees and includes a networking lunch, plus access to EGX for the full four days.

100 indie developers have already signed up to the event.
