Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Wrath of the Lich King, the second expansion for the World of Warcraft, will be released on November 13.

Initially the title will come out in North America, Europe, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Russia, followed by Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand the next day. The expansion is set be available in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on November 18, with details of the title's launch in mainland China to be announced at a later date.

"We're looking forward to launching Wrath of the Lich King and finally giving World of Warcraft players a chance to take on Arthas and his minions," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment.
