West Pier Studio founded in Brighton
Another Black Rock pebble emerges on South coast

Five colleagues from the now-defunct Brighton racing studio Black Rock have formed a new studio in Brighton known as West Pier Studio.
The team all have extensive experience from roles prior to working together at Black Rock, having worked on 35 commercially released SKUs between them. Vassos Shiarlis, Craig Gabell, Joe Palmer, Dominic Jackson and Huw Bowles worked together for five years at the Disney owned racing outfit.
The new studio's focus will be online, mobile and emergent platforms, with a special focus on using Unity 3D technology to bring high production values to titles.
Other studios to form from the staff of Black Rock include Boss Alien, Shortround and RoundCube.
