Watch Oculus' pre-E3 livestream here

Rift maker expected to reveal more details surrounding early 2016 launch of long-awaited VR headset

E3 doesn't technically start until next week, but the first wave of news from the show is imminent nonetheless. Oculus is holding an "E3 Press Conference" in San Francisco from 10 a.m. to noon Pacific time today.

Given that most attendees haven't arrived on-site at E3 yet (and that E3 is actually in Los Angeles; details, details), Oculus has also seen fit to livestream the big show online. While the company has already announced a first quarter 2016 release window and basic specs for the platform, there are still a number of details that could use clarification, like exact pricing, worldwide roll out plans, and possibly an input device to go with the headset.
