VG247 takes away 3 Games Media Awards

Gongs also for Eurogamer, The Guardian and One Life Left

"I'm honestly thrilled about last night," Garret told "I've always tried to surround myself with a good team and bet on the right product, but to receive personal recognition from my peers like that is just unbelievable. It's a real high point."

Eurogamer picked up the award for Best Online, while Shortlist won Best Mainstream Coverage and Edge took the gong for Best Games Magazine.

OXM's Mike Channel was crowned Rising Star, the Regional Games Column award went to Dan Slingsby and Jon Blyth took Best Print Writer.
