New clan joins online trading card game.
6th June 2008, Boostr the Paris-based Company behind Urban Rivals has released a new clan into the crazy world of Clint City.
Hailing from a watery past The Piranas spent a long time gallivanting about the high seas seeking booty and fortune, before Captain Bloodh dropped anchor in the bay of Clint City. The Piranas have been enjoying a well deserved break on dry land taking advantage of the relaxed way of life in the City. They've made many friends and foes with their antics and are having so much fun they don't want to leave, so instead they will stay and join the battle.
Six new character cards for the Pirana clan were released today and are available in booster packs from the Urban Rivals online shop.
The new characters include:
• “Katan” a knife throwing legend.
• “Hawkins” whose family owned Sharky Burger where he grew up listening to the weird and wonderful stories of the Pirate clan, only to join up with them years later.
• “Spycee” the clans cook and a dab hand at turning literally nothing into a tasty meal, he’s also very useful with a knife and rumours abound of his past as a pirate captain.
• We also have “Mayhem” and his assistant in the cannon firing department, “Smokey”. Mayhem is only interested in sinking other ships and with Smokey on his team they have an impressive tally.
• And finally we have “Rhed” who dreamed of joining the Piranas from a young age but had to disguise herself as a boy to be accepted. Once fully integrated into the clan she revealed her true identity and no-one disputes her being one of the team.
