Prince of Persia publisher expands into Eastern Europe

Ubisoft continues its European expansion with the opening of a new office in Warsaw, Poland.

Eastern Europe export manager Rose-Marie Nargaud will head up operations at the new office, reporting directly to Rob Cooper, MD of Europe.

"Our vision is to ensure our presence in the most important markets and that we remain close to our consumers," commented Alain Corre, executive director of Ubisoft EMEA.

"The Eastern Europe market has the potential to become a key market for videogames and Poland represents a major part of this potential, with a rapidly growing console install base."
