Two Tribes news

A cryptic update from the Toki Tori chaps.

Harderwijk, the Netherlands - Augustus 6, 2010 - During development of a brand new, yet unannounced game, employees at Two Tribes have started to exhibit symptoms of what appears to be a new type of addiction. Designers, programmers, game testers and even producers have been caught frantically switching items around. Office supplies, i-devices and even Toki Tori's eggs have been lost and subsequently found at the most unusual places.

At the time of writing it is unknown what the long term effects of this addiction are. Apart from having office redecorating effects and being highly time consuming, the addiction does not seem to have any damaging side effects. All subjects seem to derive a healthy dose of pleasure from this 'compulsive swapping disorder' resulting in the addiction spreading at a fast pace!

Office cameras managed to capture footage of an employee suffering from addiction:

Although not having been academically tested, a causal link between the new game in development and the symptoms of addiction seems logically. Assuming productivity returning to its usual state, the new game is scheduled for a September release.

You have been warned...

About Two Tribes

Two Tribes a privately owned company established in 2001, focusing on developing digital videogames, is currently balancing on the edge of falling into a total state of addiction. The philosophy held at Two Tribes (one of quality and playability) has been overshadowed by urge of swapping virtually everything around within reach of the employees. Toki Tori, the award winning puzzle platformer has been set aside, being neglected due to the addiction caused by the new game in development. The range of games developed at Two Tribes such as Worms: Open Warfare 2 (NDS), Toki Tori (WiiWare, iPhone, PC) and Ice Age 3 (iPhone, iPad) have been frantically moved around the office and are nowhere to be found. With the advent of downloadable game services, such as WiiWare and the App-store, Two Tribes has expanded its business activities by becoming a publisher of internally developed digital addictions.
