Twitch set a number of new milestones this year, seeing its biggest year yet for new streamers, viewership, and events. And as a part of its weekly show (as caught by VG247), Twitch revealed some milestone numbers from 2018 to highlight the platform's success.

For one, the number of streamers continued to rise: the platform saw over 3 million streamers per month in 2018 and over half a million each day.

The number of Partners and Affiliates also increased by 86% year-over-year. More than 248,000 new Affiliates and over 7,800 Partners were added.

Finally, viewership overall was up, with over 434 billion minutes of Twitch content viewed so far in 2018.

In terms of games, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was the most popular new game this year based on Watch Time, with Monster Hunter World, Sea of Thieves, and FIFA 19 following behind. E3 was the most popular event on Twitch this year, bringing over 2.9 million viewers total across multiple channels during the week.
