The ‘marble popper’ bug is spreading as Tumblebugs; the iPhone version of the addictive casual game classic, enjoys a welcome price drop today on iTunes. The game has enjoyed widespread critical acclaim since its launch, with Apple choosing to feature the game on App Storefronts in across the world. To celebrate, independent publisher Connect2Media are dropping the price of Tumblebugs to £0.59/$0.99/€0.79 in all regions.

At this new price, more gamers will be able to enjoy this great ‘marble popper’, which is proving just as addictive on the iPhone as it has done on the Internet. The original flash version, developed by Wildfire Studios, has racked up well over 35 million plays since launching in 2005, making it one of the most popular games of the genre.

However, Tumblebugs is no average ‘marble popper’, boasting a dynamic central character the plucky and determined Tumble, a fantastic range of power-ups and Facebook high-score connectivity, it brings a fresh new perspective to the genre.
