TIGA offering grants for GDC attendance
UK exhibitors invited to apply for funding packages of £1400 each
UK games industry body TIGA is offering grants of £1400 to eligible UK companies who are looking to attend either GDC or the GDC Game Connection event in San Francisco in March this year.
GDC is running at the city's Moscone Center from February 28 to March 4, whilst Game Connection takes place from March 1-3.
"The UK videogames development sector is a successful export industry and TIGA is committed to helping developers build on their excellent track record," said TIGA CEO Richard Wilson.
"TIGA, as an accredited trade association, works with UK Trade and Investment Tradeshow Access Programme to operate the Tradeshow Access Programme, a scheme which supports UK businesses to exhibit at overseas tradeshows by providing eligible firms with grants. We look forward to supporting more UK developers at GDC or Game Connection."
