THQ to publish SCi's Constantine Stateside

British publisher SCi Games has inked a deal with THQ that will see the latter publisher SCi's movie-licensed adaptation of Constantine in the USA next February on PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

The companies have not revealed the terms of the deal.

The film Constantine is based on DC Comics' Hellblazer graphic novels, and will see paranormal detective John Constantine (Keanu Reeves) join forces with policewoman Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) to delve into the satanic aspects of her sister's suicide.

The game meanwhile, which is being developed here in the UK by Bitz Studios, puts players in the role of Keanu Reeves' character in Los Angeles and "Hell LA", utilising many of the characters and monsters from the film, which is currently in post-production and due to premiere in 2005.
