The Beatles: Rock Band set for September release

Three different SKUs due from MTV, Harmonix and Apple Corps collaboration

MTV and Harmonix have announced that The Beatles: Rock Band will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii on September 9.

The game will be offered in three different SKUs, with the game and guitars selling for USD 99, game and a limited edition premium bundle for USD 249, or the title on its own for USD 59.

Prices outside of the US have not yet been set.

The game marks the first time that Apple Corps and EMI Music have agreed to license the music of The Beatles in a videogame format.
