Telcogames Focus On New Platforms

London, UK, 15 January 2007: Telcogames, a global publisher, developer and distributor of mobile games appoint Darren Newnham, formally Sega mobile frontman.

Newnham will be joining Telcogames as Head of Licensing in a bid to further drive expansion globally. Newnham will take control of all licensing aspects internationally looking to licence in content where appropriate and pushing Telcogames's original IP to non mobile platforms.

Newnham's appointment reflects the growth in Telcogames and their focus on servicing and meeting the needs of its global customers across smartphone and other non mobile platforms with appropriate content as well as the general industry trends of using mobile IP in other areas

Newnham has a colourful background in the entertainment industry most recently having been a key driver in implementing the European Mobile division of SEGA. Prior to this Newnham worked in key roles with major network operators across the industry including O2, T mobile, Hutchinson "3" as well as blue chip BT and entertainment retailer HMV.
