The Final Fantasy publisher now expects operating profits for the six months ending September 30th to reach 9.1 billion Yen (EUR 60.2 million), a seven per cent rise on the previous estimate of 8.5 billion Yen (EUR 56.2 million).

After raising forecasts due to sales of Kingdom Hearts II, the company now expects strong performance from made-for-DVD movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

The full year outlook for Square Enix remains the same, with the publisher looking at an operating profit of 19 billion Yen (EUR 125.7 million).
