London, UNITED KINGDOM - January 7, 2005 - Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, is pleased to announce that the book Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell has hit the New York Times' Top 10 bestseller list for paperback fiction.

The book's success reinforces the impact and value of the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell® brand both within and outside of the video game industry, an asset from which Ubisoft will continue to benefit in the near future.
The brand is an original creation developed by the company's Montreal studio.
