Sony to offer 10 free games to PSPgo users

GTA, Assassin's Creed, FIFA, LBP and more given away in new promotion

Sony has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that it is offering a total of ten free games to new PSPgo users who register their system online after April 1.

The deal includes Sony games Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm Arctic Edge, Wipeout Pure and Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice. Third party titles included in the deal are EA's FIFA 2010 World Cup and Need for Speed Shift, Rockstar's Gran Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines and Avatar.

The promotion is an extension of previous PSPgo deals that saw Gran Turismo offered free to early adopters and three free games for those original PSP users who upgraded to the digital-only PSPgo.

Sony has never revealed specific hardware sales numbers for the PSPgo, stating only that it was in-line with expectations at launch. The hardware retails for around £200 in the UK.
