Sony has announced that on May 9, the PlayStation Plus Collection will be closed.

As reported by Edge Magazine's Chris Schilling, the firm notes that the games will no longer be accessible as a benefit.

PlayStation Plus members can add the game selection to their library before the end date and play the titles at any time afterward.

"PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, Monthly Games, and other existing benefits will not be affected by this change," Sony added.

Back in March 2022, PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus was merged to create a new three-tiered subscription service.
