Smart Phone Forum

New bi-monthly meet-up in London with assorted games bigwigs booked in.

The Smart Phone Forum evening meet-up in London is a bi-monthly business and market focused event for all iPhone, Android, Symbian and other developers, publishers, investors and marketers involved with Smart Phone apps. It is informal with a round-table discussion and some presentations, followed by networking over drinks.

The topic for 2nd April is: New Distribution Reality. How to Effectively Exploit the New Markets Created by iPhone & Android Models & Maximise the Potential of App Stores.

After years of dominance, what role will network operators have in the future market? How will the supply chain shift power back to developers? How do you make money from the new business models? What marketing and price points work on app stores? How do you get above the ‘noise’? How you address the multiple handset porting issues?

Speakers are leaders in the hand-held and mobile apps space and include:

• John Chasey, Finblade

• Tim Harrison, Formerly VP Wireless Games, Electronic Arts

• David MacQueen, Director Wireless Division, Strategy Analytics

• Juan Montes, Former Head Mobile Games at Motorola
