Silent Hill HD patch cancelled for Xbox 360

Konami will not be fixing the buggy 360 HD collection

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that while it will be updating the bug-ridden release of Silent Hill HD Collection on PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 has been cancelled. The Xbox 360 patch was dropped due to "technical issues and resources".

"Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, KONAMI issued a title update for Silent Hill HD Collection (PS3), which fixed frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues. Konami apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the XBOX 360 sku.," said the company in a statement.

Konami Digital Entertainment will continue to sell the buggy 360 version of Silent Hill HD Collection.
