Sensor Tower: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp reaches $50m in worldwide player spending

81% of revenue comes from Japanese players; 61% from iOS devices

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has brought in a total of $50 million in revenue worldwide since its launch in October of last year, making it the slowest of Nintendo's mobile games to reach the milestone.

$15 million of that revenue was gained in the last two months, with Sensor Tower reporting the $35 million milestone reached at the end of June, and $50 million entering September.

As the game nears its year anniversary, Pocket Camp has taken longer (289 days) to reach the $50 million mark than either Super Mario Run (222 days) or Fire Emblem Heroes (20 days). That said, Super Mario Run only reached the $60 million revenue mark last July, two years after its release, meaning Pocket Camp will likely surpass it in the near future.

Meanwhile, Sensor Tower puts Fire Emblem Heroes' lifetime earnings at $417 million.

Pocket Camp sees 81% of its total revenue from players in Japan, and 14% from those in the US. By device, 61% stems from iOS users. The game has been installed over 25 million times.
