Sennari heads to MECCA

Company execs to deliver keynote and seminar speeches

Sennari Entertainment's CEO, Bill Barhydt, will deliver the opening address at the forthcoming CTIA Wireless MECCA conference in April, promising a "major announcement" in relation to the firm's new MobileTunes service.

In addition to the welcoming address, during which the company will reveal full details of its new service and how it plans to integrate music with its existing mobile customer relationship management platform, Barhydt will lead a seminar entitled "Know Your Customer", which aims to offer insight into methods, models and practices for generating revenue through CRM applications such as mobile gaming.

Sennari launched its PrizePlay gaming service last year, offering a suite of games designed using a pay-per-play model and offering prizes with each game played, to encourage customer retention and repeat play. Barhydt will provide an update on the performance of the service to date, which the company believes will offer insight into the mobile market that may surprise many industry professionals.

Sennari president Mike Cartabiano will also be present at the event, participating in a panel entitled "Get Your Game On", together with industry experts from Glu Mobile, Sprint, Qualcomm and Floodgate. The panel aims to explore the future of mobile gaming and next generation technology, as well as providing insight into the growth of mobile gaming in US markets.

"Sennari has been at the forefront of mobile entertainment since the beginning because we have recognized the need to provide compelling applications that appeal to both the mobile carrier and the end-user," Cartabiano commented. "While mobile gaming has been most popular in Europe and Asia, we are seeing an increased awareness of the medium in the US and believe that the US will be the leading market in the world for mobile gaming by the end of 2006."

The Mobile Entertainment, Content, Commerce and Applications (MECCA) conference is a one day event that forms part of the CTIA Wireless expo. Taking place in Las Vegas on April 4th, details of the conference sessions, speakers and registration information can be found by visiting the official conference website.
