With a storyline penned by renowned Japanese author Seishu Hase and produced by famed SEGA game creator Toshihiro Nagoshi, YAKUZA is a complex and thrilling journey to the dark heart of the Japanese underworld.

Bringing to light the depth of the characters and the intense, violent world they inhabit is a 40-minute live-action prequel movie. Shot in Tokyo and subtitled in English, the film boasts top acting talent and some gripping, explosive action to set the scene for the game.
