Registration opens for second GDC Canada
Vancouver-based industry event to run from May 6-7
Online registration for the second Games Developers Conference Canada is now open, its organisers have confirmed.
Set to take place in Vancouver on May 6-7, the event will incorporate a range of lectures, keynotes and roundtable duscussions focusing on digital distribution, social games, iPhone gaming and game design, among other topics.
"Attendees to this year's GDC Canada will gain new insights to current technologies across different game platforms as well as new business opportunities and distribution models," said Izora de Lillard, event director. "We're proud to return to Vancouver and provide the forum for Canadian developers to connect, celebrate, and further the industry."
Also confirmed for the event is the return of the Game Career Seminar, a one-day event geared towards students hoping to break into the industry.
Among GDC Canada's advisory board are representatives from Ubisoft, EA, Disney Interactive Studios and Radical Entertainment.
