Red carpet rolls out for BAFTA awards

The red carpet is being rolled out at London's Roundhouse tonight as the winners of this year's British Academy Video Games Awards are announced.

Vernon Kay will host the event, with fellow TV presenters Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Iain Lee, Dave Berry and Angelica Bell set to give out awards.

Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes will also attend, along with Lord of the Rings star Andy Serkis, impressionist John Culshaw, actor Colin Salmon and DJ Paul Gambaccini.

From the world of videogames will come Lara Croft model Karima Adebibe, plus Mario, Sonic and a group of Star Wars stormtroopers.

Quirky titles such as We Love Katamari, Guitar Hero and Brain Training will be battling it out for Best Game award alongside Hitman: Blood Money, Lego Star Wars II and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
