Prizee's world challenge for reforestation in Amazonia

Clermont-Ferrand (France), July 18, 2007

For the first time ever, one of the leading online games companies has decided to get involved in the fight against deforestation in Amazonia.

Prizee.com is calling on their audience all over the world (16 million subscribers and an average of 600 000 visits a day) to join forces and reforest a whole virtual forest.

Within one week, more than 1 500 000 people have already given their support by adding virtual leaves to the trees. But this is not enough! Prizee.com is expecting 100 million visits to achieve full success within the next 2 months and put back 10 000 to an environmental organisation.

The website http://www.act4trees.com/, translated into 5 languages, has been on line since July 10, 2007.

Each and everyone can create their own forest as a part of a virtual Amazonia and make it grow by sending the link to the greatest possible number of friends.

Thanks to each visit on our website (one per day/person/forest) a new leaf can appear, a tree can grow and the forest can get bigger and bigger.
