PopCap Games® Launches Talismania™ For PC

New Charm-Linking Puzzle Game from Casual Games Leader

SEATTLE, Washington - August 4, 2006 - PopCap Games®, the leading developer and publisher of casual games, today announced the launch of Talismania, a new puzzle game of mythological magnitude. Talismania requires players to connect magical talismans to win coins, unlock levels and help King Midas redeem his greedy past by using his money to build temples, homes, statues and more for the people of ancient Greece. With two different game modes and dozens of levels to complete, Talismania offers both fast-paced and "meditative" puzzle-building fun for players of all ages. Talismania Deluxe has a retail price of $19.95, and a free trial of the deluxe version is available for download at www.popcap.com and other leading game portals, including RealArcade.com, MSN's Game Zone and Yahoo! Games.

"Talismania is a classic puzzle game with plenty of unique twists and something for everyone," said Jason Kapalka, Chief Creative Officer at PopCap. "Hero Mode provides a fast-paced race-against-the-clock puzzle-solving experience, while Story Mode allows players to explore the game in a relaxing way such that your brain just tunes everything else out. And the graphics and inter-level animations are not only great looking, they're funny and entertaining and build a story in which you're the real hero."

Talismania was developed by RocketJump Games, whose founders have worked on a wide range of family-friendly puzzle, action and adventure games including Feeding Frenzy®, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban® and Pirates of the Caribbean®. "We're excited to have our first RocketJump title published by PopCap because we feel that they are the leading casual games company in the industry and we have great respect for their games" said Wes Cumberland, co-founder of RocketJump. "PopCap's support, enthusiasm and sharp eye for quality helped make the game the best it could be. There's simply no better company for us to partner with when it comes to games like Talismania."

In Talismania, players create coins by rotating tiles to connect bronze, silver or gold talismans that appear on the game board. By acting quickly or creating long, complex paths, players can earn more valuable coins and big level-end bonuses. At the end of each level, King Midas tallies up the hard-earned cash and uses it to build the structures that his subjects really need. The more money you earn, the nicer the building, and the closer Midas is to saving his cursed daughter. Tricky monsters, handy power-ups, and exciting bonus levels add to the challenge, providing hours of addictive fun.

Key features of Talismania include:

· Twist and connect talismans to collect copper, silver and gold coins

· Choose between relaxing Story Mode or the fast-paced Hero Mode

· Each mode has 40 unique levels and 16 challenging bonus rounds

· Gorgeous 2D "cut scene" animations that reflect your progress on every level

· Rebuild ancient spectacles like Mt. Olympus and the Trojan Horse

· Defeat Minotaurs, Krakens and other terrifying mythological monsters

· Earn extra cash by building paths through power-ups
