PlayStation Network adds pre-loading service

PSN users can now pre-purchase and install titles before they're released

Sony will be introducing a pre-purchase system on the PlayStation Store, allowing PlayStation Network users to buy and install games prior to their official release date. It's functionality similar to that offered by Valve's Steam service and other digital download services.

According to Gamasutra, the first game to use the new system will be the PlayStation Move title Sorcery, which is due for release next week.
