Pixel-Lab merges with Mudlark

Indie games evangelist joins cross-platform production house

Digital games consultancy Pixel-Lab has merged with its sister company, cross-platform production house Mudlark.

All Pixel-Lab events will now come under the Mudlark banner, including the Indie Games Arcade, Summer of Love and Playful conference.

"Six years ago when I set up Pixel-Lab, I saw that many people needed support in understanding games and the games industry, but I didn't quite realise just how rapidly it would explode and become ubiquitous," said Toby Barnes, managing director of Mudlark. "The opportunities that exist at the moment are incredible."

Mudlark projects including online game Chromarama, a retelling of Romeo and Juliet via Twitter called Such Tweet Sorrow, and iPhone game Running Rings.
